Killer Ab Exercises to Shape Your Tummy

There is nothing more annoying than the little bit of stomach fat that makes you look tubby. But while spot reduction is difficult, these killer abs exercises are actually designed to make you tone up your abs so that when the cardio gets rid of the fat, you’ll have beautiful, sculpted abs. Just make sure to do them regularly and keep increasing the number of reps so that your body is constantly challenged and your muscles do not get in the habit of the exercise.


Crunches – an oldie but a goodie, this exercise is still irreplaceable when it comes to ab sculpting. Crunches are very simple to perform. You lie on your back with knees bent and facing the ceiling. Putting your hands under your head, engage your core and bend your back so that your shoulders reach towards your thighs. Hold for one count then relax. Repeat as many times as you can – start with ten and work upwards.


Plank – this exercise is brilliant not just for your abs but for your entire core. Start face down on the floor, and then raise your upper body to your arms. Then raise your lower body on to your toes, making sure that your body is in a straight line, like a plank. Maintain the position for ten seconds, working upwards.


V-sit – this abs killing exercise is also very simple. Start by sitting on the floor, and then bend your legs upwards and your arms back so your entire body forms a V, with your butt as the vertex. Maintain the position as long as you can before letting go. Work your way upwards to maintain the position for a longer time.
